Hey 4th graders and parents

Congrats to Jillian, Graciela, and Luke for making it to the Merced County speech contest this Thursday!!!!! Good Luck!!!!

Homework help this week will be on Monday and Wednesday 2:30- 3:25

I will be sending 2 letters home about our upcoming field trips -- these letters are also permission slips. Please cut the bottom off, so you can keep the top with the info about the trip. We have lots of fun planned ---- I can't wait.
BEHAVIOR, CONDUCT, AND EFFORT lately has been really been below average. Many of my students have been talking and been out of their seats which not only keeps them from finishing their work, but keeps others from doing so. Yes, I know that spring fever has hit, but school isn't slowing down. It is speeding up. Some students are going home with lots of work to finish. I have been watching and so many are talking when they should be working. I give plenty of time to get the work done, but they are not completing their assignments. I would talk and encourage them to stay on task so they don't have so much to do after school. I try to survey the students and when the average student is completing the work, I do send it home to finish. If your child is coming home with a lot of work, you need to talk to your child about what they are doing during work time. I know that with your help and support this could improve! Thank you to those parents who support what I am doing in school to help your child. If you have questions or concerns, please contact me first before going to the principal----she has enough on her plate.
